Affect (feelings) toward the Republican Party is the number of
Republican Party 'likes' minus the number of Republican Party
'dislikes.'
The Net affect (Pro Dem. - Pro Rep.) toward parties is the
difference between two sums: the sum of Democratic party 'likes'
and Republican party 'dislikes' MINUS the sum of Democratic party
'dislikes' and Republican party 'likes.'
