scores of 97 to 100 are collapsed to 97.
In 1968, DK was scored as 50.
The Net index (Pro Dem. - Pro Rep.) is constructed by subtracting the
Republican presidential candidate thermometer rating from the
Democratic presidential candidate thermometer rating, adding 100 to the
difference, and then dividing by 2.
The score for 'Both Candidates' is produced by adding the Republican
and Democratic presidential candidate thermometer ratings and then
dividing the sum by 2.
All results are rounded to the nearest integer.
