Before contacting ANES with a question, however, please bear in mind that we are limited to answering questions which are specifically about the conduct of ANES surveys or about the disseminated data and documentation files which represent our surveys.

We receive many direct inquiries and make every attempt to answer in a timely manner. Response may be delayed at certain times when studies are in progress.

ANES makes available respondent-level survey data suitable for research analysis. If you are interested in summary tables based upon data from our surveys, we do not disseminate summary output except in the ANES Guide to Public Opinion and Electoral Behavior [the Guide summarizes all years in which specific Time Series questions have been asked, however it represents only a selection of questions].
